Fraud has always been a problem for the hosting industry and that’s also true for most online businesses that accept credit cards, paypal and so on. Lately we’ve been receiving more and more fraud orders especially from Nigeria and Vietnam, since then we’ve put fraud detection system in our new billing system as well as manual scans of our orders daily.

The main reason for writing this rant is we’ve received couple incidents described below:
1) Fraud user signs up using Fake/Stolen Credit Card Number and Address
2) Order gets rejected by our system
3) Fraud user sends us emails and chats with us regarding their order. (Acts suprised)
4) Fraud user tries to get us to activate their order, they even give us their number to verify & call. (victim from the US usually)
5) Order rejected!
Below is some statistics of the fraudguardian system regarding fraud orders.
