Inside the 4images folder, create a blank file named config.php
Next, navigate to your CGI server and create a new directory. You may want to name it 4images so you know what it is later. Upload all of the files and directories from the compressed files that you just downloaded, particularly the files you edited, to your CGI server’s 4images directory.
Change the file permissions for config.php to 666 and change the following directories’ and sub directories’ permissions to 777:

/templates/default/
/templates/default/media/
/data/
/data/media/
/data/thumbnails/
/data/database/
/data/tmp_thumbnails/
/data/tmp_media/
Finally, go into the directories below and change the permissions for all the files within these directories to permission level of 666:
/templates/default/
/templates/default/media/
